Re: [ctleadershipcoordination] Connecticut Dashboards with Embedded Maps

Primary tabs

The CICs have cohorts and they will certainly have more of them. They were funding scholars as well with grants through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

I think that working with RAC and MPHISE would satisfy their data sharing requirements.

Both DASH and RWJF are good to keep an eye on.

Do you have a relationship with a Unitarian Universalist Congregation? The UU Fund for Social Responsibility funds projects that get their congregants engaged in social justice. If you have health or data geek friends in a UU congregation who want to do equity that could work well.

So Jan…I looked at the DASH website.  The RFPs are past for 2020…would they fund a data geek for CT?  Would they do it if it build on the RAC and MPHISE?  Thanks..b

Hi Bruce,

Brilliant! You are very much on the right track here. I will prioritize this when it is time to have a conversation with Health Equity Solutions. Connecting the RAC hyperlocal
MCF and SDOH data gathering to effective advocacy is a very necessary priority. You may have an excellent testbed for the art of the possible there. They could look at DASH CIC for single survey effort support to get the ball rolling. https://dashconnect.org/cic/

Janice…thank you. I did call and speak with Tekisha Everette, Executive Director of Equity Solutions.  She apparently know Lloyd Michener.  She was interested…I sent her the two
pager, MPHISE Findings document and a powerpoint from one of the workgroup meetings.  She would join us for a discussion of what Health Equity Solutions role might be…I suggested integrating their hyperlocal data and identifying community initiatives that
are in progress that might benefit from participation.  Let me know what you think…thanks…b
