Fwd: Follow up on Ashe County Resilient Community Update session

Primary tabs

Hello Ashe County Team,
I am posting this by emailing to the Leadership Coordination Work Group at its group email address: usracasheconc@m.resiliencesystem.org. This means that the email will appear as a post in the Resilience System Work Group. Any responses to this email will appear as comments in the Resilience System, and will be archived there. Please add people to the Work Groups as they join your team, so they can receive information as well.

1. The Button for the Spanish version of COVID19 Community Assessment has been installed on the Dashboard. Please let me know who you would like shared in on that Spanish Results Spreadsheet.
2. A new and separate map for just the local growers of food and food hubs, etc. has been created. Deeanna, Lauren and Beth have been shared in on it. I embedded the new map on your Dashboard.
More coming soon.
Cheers,
Jan

Thanks Jan! This is great! I would like to be able to edit those spreadsheets and add a column so that we can put the status of each post on there. I don't seem to have access to that now.
I followed up on an offer to help and she had some ideas for reaching more vulnerable people. We are already doing these things but how can we do more to reach out to local fire departments in each community, and contacting the smaller community churches? Churches are probably the best way to find older people who are isolated and may need something.
David, I know you are trying to reach the churches, but is there any way we can help and is there someone else who can help? I know that is a huge job, so please let us know how we can help increase that outreach.
Cody, have you been in touch with VFDs and what is the best way to reach out to all of them?
Just kind of brainstorming aloud.
Keep up the great work!
Beth
