Friends, mark your calendars and prepare to join us as we build on the momentum of last year’s spectacularly successful conference in Washington, DC.

In 2011, the first national conference on “Building Resilience through Public-Private Partnerships” brought together 250 participants in person, from all levels of the government and private sector leaders from across the nation, plus an additional 700 by webcast. We heard from the likes of Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano; American Red Cross President Gail McGovern; Greensburg, KS Mayor Bob Dixson; and a range of senior executives from Lowes, Verizon Wireless, WiredMagazine, and others. Call for Topics

This year we will discuss a range of issues under the umbrella of “Whole Community and Strengthening Partnerships.” We are looking for your ideas on topics and speakers. Initial ideas include business continuity, cyber security, social media, building and sustaining resilient communities, and international good practices in private sector integration into catastrophic disaster response.
