Intelligence?
Wed, 2014-07-09 12:44 — mdmcdonaldThe "Intelligence?" working group is focused on clarifying what is called "intelligence" in American society today. This discourse is more about exploring concepts and counterpoints than making statements about what intelligence is. Five perspectives and aspects of intelligence will be explored in some detail:
1) what does intelligence mean from the neurosciences and cognitive sciences?
2) what does the intelligence community consider to be intelligence?
3) what does the artificial intelligence community consider to be intelligence?
4) What does the American legal system consider to be intelligence and evidence emerging from "intelligence?"
5) What does the American political system consider to be "intelligence?"
